Doris HEATHERINGTON

METCALF, Doris (née Heatherington) - The family announces with sorrow her death, Wednesday March 30, 2005, in Chelmsford, at the age of 71 years. Daughter of the late Andrew and of the late Doris (née Styles) Heatherington. Beloved wife of Arnold Metcalf of Chelmsford. Loving mother of Cindy Jo Fauvelle (Neil) of Woodstock and Darwin Metcalf (Kimberley) of Azilda. Dear sister of Andrew Heatherington (Linda) of Kelowna, B.C., Marshall Heatherington (Sheila) of Gananoque, ON and Harry Heatherington (Joyce) of Coburg, ON. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Derick Hebert of London, Ashley Metcalf and Shawna Metcalf both of Azilda. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, and many close friends. Doris devoted many years to volunteer work in her community in scouting, the Canadian National Institute for the Blind and the Diabetes Association. Her good character and the kindness of her heart won the affection of her loving family and all who knew her. The family will receive friends at the CO-OPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 4691 Regional Road 15, CHELMSFORD, Friday from 2-5 and 7-9:30 p.m. and Saturday after 10:00 a.m. A funeral service will be held Saturday, April 2, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Co-Operative Funeral Home, Chelmsford. Donations to the CNIB, Sudbury would be appreciated.
