Ernie has three grandchildren: Leslie Frazer (Mitchell) in Toronto, Ontario; Brad (Elektra) in Windsor, Ontario and Brooke in London, England. Ernie retired from INCO at Levack Mine in 1976 and continued to live in Levack, Ontario. Before and since retirement, he always enjoyed his sports. He was particularly interested and became proficient in curling, being a founding member of the Levack Curling Club. He loved his camp. After retirement he spent every summer fishing and puttering at his camp. He was a gentle person and a dedicated family man. He most enjoyed the times he spent with his grandchildren at the camp, showing them how to fish and clean the fish, drive the boat (and the truck), and to love the water and the outdoors. He will be missed by all of the family. We do celebrate his unselfish contributions to our well-being. Visitation will be at LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, 252 Regent St. at Hazel St. on Sunday, March 27th, 2005 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral mass will be held at St. Bartholomew's Church in Levack at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 28, 2005.
