Robert Caissie 1913 - 2005 GRANDE-DIGUE, NB - Robert Caissie, 92, husband of Anita Caissie (Babineau), of Grande-Digue, NB, passed away on Saturday, April 9, 2005 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital, after a sudden illness. Born April 7, 1913 in Grande-Digue he was the son of the late Jacques Caissie and Marie Caissie. Retired from Lockwood Inc., and attended La Visitation Roman Catholic Church, GrandeDigue. He is survived by his wife, Anita (Babineau) Caissie; seven daughters, Diane Arsenault (Leonard), Shediac, Marguerite M. Pellerin (Alcide), NotreDame, Lucia Vautour (Ronald), CapPelé, Bernice Caissie, Shediac, Cécile Gautreau (David), Grand-Digue, Francine Vautour (Roland), Grand-Digue, Roberte Caissie, Cocagne; one son, Roland Caissie, Grand-Digue; two sisters, Rev Soeur Marguerite Caissie, Religieuse Hospitaliere St-Joseph Bathurst, Rev Soeur Emilie Caissie Religieuse Providence Montreal; eight grandchildren, Paul, Ronald, Daniel, Angèle, Joanne, Conrad, Vanessa, Tanya; two great grandchildren, Jeremy and Gabrielle. He was predeceased by one sister, Eva-May Caissie; five brothers, Ernest, Roméo, André, Henri and Adelard. Resting at the Cooperative funeraire Passage funeral Co-operative, Shediac Bridge, with visitation on Monday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm and Tuesday 9:30 till 10:30am. Funeral Mass will be held from La Visitation Roman Catholic Church, Grand-Digue on Tuesday, April 12, 2005 at 11:00am. Interment will be in the Parish Cemetery at a later date. At the request of the family, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice.
