Alice GALLANT

MURPHY, MARY ALICE - On Saturday, April 9, 2005, Alice Murphy, wife of the late Joseph Murphy, passed away peacefully at the Carleton-Kirk Nursing Home. Born in Summerside, PEI., she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Cecilia Gallant. Alice lived on the Pamdenac Road most of her life and she worked for many years as a waitress at the Fairport Motel and Restaurant and also M.R.A's. She is survived by her son Jerome Murphy, Grand Bay, NB., and her daughter Kathy (David) Oliver, Brampton, ON., grandsons James and Jeremy Oliver, Whitby, ON., sisters Barbara (Bob) Bond, Saint John, NB., Marie Dorion, Vancouver, BC., and Dorothy Kisling, Clearwater, FL. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by brother Alyre, sister Eva Crossman and step-sister Florence Kierstead. Resting at Castle "Fallsview" Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave., with visiting Monday 7-9 pm and Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, April 13, 2005 in Fallsview Chapel at 10:00 am. Interment to follow in Holy Cross Cemetery.
