Garnet Reid Collier 1918 - 2005 The death of Garnet Reid Collier, 87 years, husband of Mary (Carter) Collier of Coverdale Road, Riverview occurred at the Kenneth Spencer Memorial Home on Sunday, April 10, 2005. Born March 30, 1918 in Meadow, Albert Co. he was the son of the late Albert and Amelia (Bannister) Collier. Garnet had been employed with Cash and Carry Cleaners and the Town of Riverview Works Dept until his retirement several years ago. He is survived by his wife, Mary; his daughter, Cheryl (Clifford) MacKenzie of Riverview as well as many nieces and nephews. The last surviving member of his immediate family Garnet was predeceased by his son, Winston in 1971; his parents and his brothers and sisters. Resting at Cadman Funeral Home (857-1110) 114 Alma Street, Moncton with visiting hours on Tuesday, April 12 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. His funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 13, 2005 at 2 pm in the funeral home. Interment will be in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens.
