Carl J. Godsoe Carl J. Godsoe, 75, of Moncton passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Thursday, April 14, 2005. Born in Moncton, son of the late Percy and Gertrude (Corkum) Godsoe. Carl was retired from C.N.R. Express with over 32 years service. Carl was a very kind and generous person who enjoyed helping and aiding neighbors and friends. In his retirement he enjoyed carpentry and was an avid card player. Carl will be sadly missed by his daughters, Sandra Poirier (Denis), Carla Butland (Dale), both of Moncton, Pam MacQuarrie (Les), Dieppe; sons, Brian (Gwen), Stephen (Heidi) both of Saint John; 12 grandchildren; six great grandchildren; cousin and special friend, Bernice Calder, Moncton; sister, Gloria McDonald (Angus), Grande Barachois; sister-in-law, Arlene Godsoe, Moncton; brothers, Reginald (Muriel), Moncton, Kenneth (Linda), Riverview, Percy (Marcia), Saint John, Robert (Carolyn), Virgina, USA; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his wife Eliza (McKillop) Godsoe (Feb. 1987) and brother, Palmer. Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. Funeral Service at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Chapel Saturday, April 16, 2005, 1:30pm, Rev. Harold MacDonald officiating. Reception following the service. Interment, Fairhaven Memorial Gardens.
