SAUNDERS, RUSSELL MELVIN On April 15, 2005 Russell Melvin Saunders of Newbridge passed away at his residence at the age 91. Born in Wakefield, NB he was the son of the late Edward and Martha (Sharpe) Saunders. Russell is survived by one daughter Inez Jones (Bob) Grafton, NB, three sons Lloyd (Ethel) Grafton, NB, Lewis Oshawa, Ontario, and Lorne (Sandra) Newbridge, NB, one sister Anna Miller (Jason) Grafton, NB one sister-in-law Anna Saunders Woodstock, NB. Twelve grandchildren and 25 great grand children. Russell was predeceased by his wife Effie (Grass) Saunders, six brothers and four sisters. Visitation for Russell Saunders will be Sunday April 17, 2005 from the Carleton Funeral Home 337 Lockhart Mill Road Jacksonville, NB from 2-4 and 7-9. Funeral service will be held on Monday April 18, 2005 from the Carleton Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 PM with rev. Eric McKinnon officiating. Burial to follow in Grafton Cemetery. As of expression of sympathy donations may be made to Cancer Society or Heart and Stroke Foundation.
