ATCHESON, CONSTANCE H. - The death of Constance (Connie) Hilda (Owen) Atcheson, formerly of the Admiral Beatty Complex, wife of the late Lennox Atcheson, occurred on Thursday, April 14, 2005 at the St. John & St. Stephen Nursing Home Inc. Born in Annapolis Royal, NS, she was a daughter of the late Gertrude (Gothrope) and Major Daniel Owen, KC. Connie worked for many years at the Saint John Regional Library in the reference department. She was a member of the Sir Douglas Hazen Chapter of the I.O.D.E. She is survived by two daughters: Sandra (Ian) Christie of Quebec; Elizabeth (Bette-Anne) Taylor of Saint John, NB; and five grandchildren: Alice, Jennifer, Jaye, Bree and Chad, one great- granddaughter: Anneke. She was predeceased by two sisters: Mary and Katherine, and one grandson Scott. By request there will be no visiting. A graveside service will be held at St. Albans Cemetery, Annapolis Royal at a later date. Remembrances may be made to the IWK Children's Hospital or your local Veteran's Association.
