NAIRN, RALPH WILLIAM - Passed away peacefully at his residence in Saint John, NB. on Friday April 15th, 2005. He was born in Saint John NB. on December 30th, 1923 to the late John and Alberta (Cassidy) Nairn. Ralph is survived by his loving wife, Alveata (Smith) Nairn, two sons; Ralph Jr. (Lucy LeBlanc) and John (Susan) both of Saint John, one daughter; Dian (Herve) Chartier of Calgary, one brother; Herbert (Anna) of Victoria, BC, two sisters, Jean Morris, and Lorraine Nairn both of Saint John, and several grandchildren and great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Ralph's greatest love was his family, he enjoyed his outings with his good friend Ozzie Saulnier. Family and friends will always remember Ralph's quick wit and sense of humor, in his later years he became interested in computers and received much pleasure from his internet talks with his daughter Dian and creating music CD's for family and friends. Ralph was a member of the Jarvis Bay Legion Branch # 53 and worked for Sears, Courtesy Cab, and owned and operated, Nairns Rugs & Upholstery Cleaning. Arrangements are under the professional care of Fundy Funeral Home 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, NB (646-2424). By Ralph's request there will be no visitations, although a memorial service will be held on Wednesday April 20th, 2005 at 2 pm. from the Fundy Funeral Home "Chapel".
