ROGERS, ALLAN JOSEPH - Passed away peacefully at the Loch Lomond Villa on Saturday April 16th, 2005. He was born in Milltown, NB. to the late Allan and Elise (Collette) Rogers. Allan is survived by his wife, Evangeline (Maillet), a daughter, Janice (Frank) Robertson of Midland, NB. one son, Norman (Belinda) of Quispamsis, two brother-in-laws, Regis Cormier, and Joseph Bonnevie, and, one sister, Myrtle Kavanaugh, five grandchildren, René, Roger, Lisa, Laura, and Matthew, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Allan was predeceased by one sister, Geneva Cormier, four brothers, Everett, Stanley, Bill, and Vernon. Allan performed a variety of work history, starting at Lawson Motors, worked at the port as a longshoreman, then at Digby Ferry, Princess Helene then McAvity Crane, and was a proprietor at A.J. Rogers Auto body and then NBCC then onto retirement. Allan was also an avid hunter and fisherman who loved his grandchildren, and had a summer residence in Shediac where they spent every summer. Funeral arrangements are under the professional care of Fundy Funeral Home 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, NB (646-2424) with visitations on Monday 7-9 pm and Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The Mass of Christian burial will be held from the Fundy Funeral Home to St. Joachim's Church on Wednesday April 20th, 2005 at 11am.
