ATTWOOD-LOWTHER, CLIVE PAUL - 89 years of Woodstock NB, formerly of Wilmot, NS, passed away peacefully at home on April 17, 2005 in Woodstock, NB. Born in Fishponds, Bristol England, he was a son of the late Aaron and Anne (Attwood) Lowther. He worked for 15 years in the British Merchant Marine during which time he met and married Carmen Taylor. Following their marriage, they moved to Montreal where Clive was appointed General Manager of the Mt. Stephen Club, Montreal. After his retirement, Clive and Carmen retired to Wilmot, Nova Scotia. Clive moved to Woodstock, NB in 2002 where he resided until his death. He was a member of the Woodstock Baptist Church and a former member of the Middleton Baptist Church. He is survived by several nieces and nephews, many close friends and loved ones. Predeceased by his wife, the former Carmen Taylor, brothers Ivan and Raymond. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Friday in the Warren T. Roop Funeral Home, Middleton, NS, Rev. Danny Smith officiating. Interment in Little Harbour Shelburne Co.
