CRAIG, HELEN ALBERTA - The death of Helen Craig of St. Stephen, occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on April 17, 2005. Born in Old Ridge, New Brunswick, she was the daughter of the late Bonner and Alice (Davis) Bartlett. Predeceased by husbands Reginald Doucette and Allison Craig; brother, Everett Bartlett; sister Shirley Smith. Survived by daughter, Faylene (Richard) Tremblay of Fredericton NB; four sisters, Thelma (William) Purdy of Vancouver BC; Roberta Hamilton of St. Stephen NB; Winnifred (Henry) Veasman of California; Lillian (Janes) Fahey of Old Ridge NB; three brothers, George Bartlett of Old Ridge NB; Arthur Bartlett of Windsor ON; Kenneth Bartlett of Saint John NB; one granddaughter, Roxanne Weaver; two great-grandchildren, Mark Haley and Jesse Urqurhart, several nieces and nephews. Following cremation, a private memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 21 at 2pm in the Oak Bay rural cemetery with Rev. Bob Hinton officiating. For those who wish, donations to the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke foundation, or to a charity of the donors choice would be appreciated.
