James Neil MacDonald 1940 - 2005 The death of James Neil MacDonald of Moncton occurred at his residence on Sunday, April 17, 2005. Born August 18, 1940 in Hardwick, NB, he was the son of the late Joseph and Violet (McLean) MacDonald. Prior to his retirement several years ago, Neil was employed as a heavy equipment operator with several companies throughout Canada, most recently with North American. Neil is survived by his sons, Darren (Diane) MacDonald and their children Caleb and Taylor of Bay du Vin, Michael MacDonald of Moncton. He is also survived by his sisters, Connie Woodford (Tommy) of Newfoundland, Dorca Lloyd (Leonard) of Black River Bridge, June Jimmo (Chlorn) of Escuminac, NB; brothers, Louis MacDonald (Barb) of Riverview, Graham MacDonald (Ruth) of Hardwick, Kenny MacDonald (Debbie) of Fort MacMurray, Alberta and John MacDonald of Fredericton. He is also survived many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sisters, Shirley and Audrey. By personal request there will not be any visiting hours or public funeral service. Following cremation, interment will take place in St. Bridgett's Church Cemetery in Hardwick.
