DORCAS, RICHARD HENRY The death of Richard Henry Dorcas occurred in Fredericton, NB on Thursday, April 21st, 2005 after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on August 18th, 1949 in Stanley, NB, he was the son of Noreen Sherwood Dorcas and the late Henry Dorcas. Richard was a graduate of Stanley Regional High School, class of 1967. He had a great love of music and played piano, guitar and keyboard. His family was an important part of his life and he loved and was especially proud of his many nieces and nephews and their families. Survived by his mother, Noreen Dorcas of Stanley, NB; brother, Dr. Dow (Margaret) of Oakville, ON; sisters, Barbara Ann (Ken) Langan of Quispamsis, NB and Ferne (Clair) Gallagher of Williamsburg, NB; brotherin-law, Glen Fullarton of Cross Creek, NB; nieces and nephews, Sylvia (Tim) MacKay, Roger Gallagher, Sandy (Kathy) Fullarton, Shaun (Lisa) Fullarton, Mary Ann (Chris) Brewer, Kevin (Marion) Jewett, Janice (Bruce) Hanson, Robin (Joanna) Dorcas, April Dorcas and Peter (Carrie) Dorcas; grand nieces and nephews and several aunts and uncles. He is predeceased by his father, Henry; sister, Mary Jean (Glen) Fullarton and grand nephew, Timothy Benji MacKay. Visitation will he held at McAdam's Select Community Funeral Home, 160 York Street, Fredericton, NB on Saturday, April 23rd, 2005 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held at St. Peter's Presbyterian Church, Stanley, NB on Sunday, April 24th, 2005 at 3:00 pm. Rev. Kimberley Barlow officiating. Interment will be in St. Peter's Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
