Audrey Barbara Wallace (née Carswell) August 25, 1919 - April 22, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Marcotte Funeral Home & Chapel (Tecumseh) 85 years. Audrey was born in Montreal and passed away peacefully on April 22, 2005 at the Country Village Health Care Centre. Audrey finally rejoins the love of her life, Ken, and we know together they will continue to guide and watch over their loved ones. Loving mother of Audrey Goslin (Maryland), Barbara Eaton (Essex) and Rick Eaton and wife Pam (Ottawa). Grandma to Claude and Brigitte (Montreal), Helene and Billy (Dallas), Carolynn and Todd (Montreal), Michael and Sylvie (Montreal), Sarah and Emily (Ottawa). Great-grandmother to Samuel, Chase, Kaitlyn and Lyviane. Predeceased by sisters Nessie, Sylvia and brother George. Audrey started work as an elevator attendant in the Medical Arts Building in Montreal and for forty years worked in the service and retail business. A keen musician Audrey studied piano and was a member of the Montreal Elgar Choir, for sixty years she was a member of her church choir spending the last fourteen with the Lakeshore St. Andrews Choir. Audrey was a member of the Women’s Association and the Christian Women’s Association where she had served on several committees. A volunteer at the Windsor Downtown Mission she was always available to compete in their 10 km runs for charity as she was for the Terry Fox Foundation. Audrey will be sadly missed by all who knew her but, she knew that the Lord had prepared a room for her. Visitation will be held at the Marcotte Funeral Home & Chapel 12105 Tecumseh Road, Tecumseh (735-2830) on Sunday from 2-5 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. Visiting will continue at Lakeshore St. Andrews 235 Amy Croft Drive on Monday, April 25, 2005 from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Chuck Congram will be the celebrant. Cremation and the interment of cremated remains will take place at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. In kindness, memorial donations to the Windsor Downtown Mission would be appreciated by the family. A tree will be planted in memory of Audrey Wallace in the Marcotte Heritage Forest.
