Giovanni Tullio November 02, 1917 - April 22, 2005 TULLIO, Giovanni 87 years, born November 2, 1917, Gallinaro, Frosinone Italy, passed away peacefully April 22, 2005 at Hotel Dieu Grace Hosptial, Windsor, Ontario, Canada. Cherished husband of Antonia (nee Pollicella) for the past 58 years. Beloved father of Maria & Ercole (Rick) DiGioia and Loreta & Adel Gabr. Loving Nonno of Enzo DiGioia, Lisa &Gary Quenneville, Carla DiGioia and Medo & Sandro Gabr. BisNonno of Alessia, Luca and Arianna Quenneville. Dear Uncle of Gerardo, Lucio and Jerry Tullio & families of Windsor, Maria Cellucci and Gerardo Marcantuoni & families of Toronto, and many nieces and nephews in Italy and Belgium. Predeceased by his parents Gerardo & Maria Assunta Tullio, also predeceased by sisters and brothers Maria & Gerardo Marcantuoni, Antonio & Michelina Tullio, Serafina & Cesidio Cence, Domenico & Ginevra Tullio and Gerarda Tullio. Giovanni was a member of the Ciociaro Club and yearly sponsored several families in India with all his heart. Friends will be received at the Janisse-Bros. Marcotte Funeral Home, 1139 Ouellette Ave. (253-5225) on Saturday and Sunday from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. with parish prayers Sunday evening at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Monday, April 25, 2005 leaving the funeral home at 8:45 a.m. to St. Angela Merici Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. Entombment Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. As your expression of sympathy donations may be made to the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre, Heart & Stroke Foundation or Celebration of Holy Mass. A tree will be planted in memory of Giovanni Tullio in the Janisse-Bros. Marcotte Heritage Forest. A dedication service will be held September 25, 2005. All are welcome.
