MUIR 0 9, Gavin, At the family home in St. Catharines, peacefully in his sleep on Friday, April 1st, 2005 at 80 years of age. Beloved husband of Walburga. Loving father of John Muir and Francyne Kirouac-Muir, Christiane Muir and Doug Mole, Magdalena Muir, Paul and Lillian Muir and the late Peter Muir. Cherished grandfather of Anna. Gavin was predeceased by his parents Gavin and Christine (nee Hall) Muir and his siblings Walter, Isabel and Christine who lived in Scotland and England. Gavin taugh t math for many years at Grimsby High School, and was active at St. Thomas Aquinas Church. He will be missed by his family and friends. Gavin is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St. where family will receive friends on Sunday, Ap ril 3, 2005 at 2-4 p.m. Vigil Prayers will be celebrated at the funeral home on Sunday at 3 p.m. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated in St. Thomas Aquinas Church on Monday, April 4, 2004 at 10 a.m. with Rite of Committal in Victoria Lawn Cemetery.
