Abram ZACHARIAS

ZACHARIAS, Abram, Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at the St. Catharines General Hospital, March 31, 2005. Beloved husband of Margaret. Dear father/stepfather of Janit, Andrew, Peter, Terry (Judy), Steven (Catherine), Barbara (Don) an d Lisa (Rob). Dearly loved Grampa of Derrek, Tegan, Joshua, Shannon, Cameron, Summer and Sydney. Survived by his sisters Helen and Agatha, brothers Isaac, Corny, Aron, Jack and John; predeceased by Henry, David, Susan and Kathy. Abe was a Big Brother for more than twenty years, a Master 5-Pin Bowler, taught 5-pin bowling for twenty-five years and was a coach for seniors in the Niagara Peninsula 5-Pin Bowling Association. He also enjoyed playing golf, horseshoes, darts and 10-pin bowling. The fam ily would like to express their deep gratitude for the outstanding care and attention of Dr. Tom Nolan and the PCU AND ICU nurses. In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be a celebration of Abe's life at his home church, St. David's Queenston United Church, 1453 York Road, St. David's, Ontario on April 9, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to Community Living St. Catharines or the Niagara Lupus Society would be appreciated by his fam ily. 4/5/2005- ID5945684 - St. Catharines Standard
