STEPIEN, Ben, Passed away peacefully at the Hotel Dieu Hospital on Saturday, April 2, 2005 in his 83rd year. Beloved husband for 54 years or Pearl and father to Robert, Donald (Janice), Michael (Mary Lou) and James (Susan). Loving grandfather to his eight grandchildren. He also leaves behind his brothers Joe (Dorothy), Chester (Eleanor), Leo (Mary) and his sisters Lottie (Lawrence), Stacey and Kay Hatch as well as many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brother-in-law Bev Hatch. Ben is rest ing at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL,585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines, where his family will receive visitors on Tuesday, April 5th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Vigil Prayers at the funeral home on Tuesday at 2 p.m. Funeral Liturgy will take place at St . Alfred's Church on Wednesday, April 6th at 11 a.m. with burial to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or the Alzheimers Society would be appreciated by the family.
