PURDIE, Dorothy, Suddenly at the St. Catharines General Hospital on Monday, April 4, 2005 in her 85th year. Dorothy, loving wife of Jim for 57 years. Beloved mother of Diane Purdie (John Shaw) of Newmarket and Daryl Purdie of Brampton. Lovingly reme mbered by her grandson Jamie Shaw. Survived by her sister Myrtle Carter and brother Mervyn Owen, both of Maple Ridge, B.C., and brother Dick Owen of Calgary. Remembered by many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Purdie retired from Sears of Sudbury in 1980 aft er 15 years of service. The family would like to thank the staff of Community 4-East for their kindness and care. Cremation has taken place.
