COOK, Max, Died peacefully on Wednesday, April 20th, 2005. Max Cook of Ridgeville, in his 78th year. Beloved husband of the late Phyllis Cook (1987). Loving father of Stanley Cook of Wainfleet, Judy Reid of Fonthill, Wayne Cook and his wife Debbie o f Welland, Cindy Girard of Welland and Sandra Harding and her husband John of Fonthill. Also loved by grandchildren Erin, Corey, Brandon, Colin, Justin, Spencer, Katie, Jason and his great-granddaughter Hayley. Dear brother of Jean Newman of Niagara Falls and predeceased by his sister Loverne Burniston. Dear friend of Janet McGowan of Stevensville. Max was a retired member of St. John's Volunteer Fire Department, an active member of Fonthill United Church, a former 25 year member of the Rotary C lub of Welland and a founding Board Member of the Brain Injury Community Re-Entry (Niagara) Inc. Friends will be received by the family from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Thursday, April 21st, 2005 at the JAMES L. PEDLAR FUNERAL HOME, 1292 Pelham Street, Fonthill, where the funeral service will be conducted in the chapel on Friday, April 22nd at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Dr. Paul Owen officiating. Interment Pleasantview Memorial Gardens, Thorold.
