Hans George SUSGIN

SUSGIN, Hans George, April 26, 2005. George was born in Reimanswalde, East Prussia, July 28, 1934. Passed away at Kingston General Hospital after a long battle with cancer. Predeceased by his wife, Anna. Dear friend of Jo Ann Saelens. Loving Father of Fred (Jane) of Iowa, Richard (Pam) of Georgia, and Rita (Steve) Cardy of St. Catharines. George was beloved brother of Hubert (Hertha) Susgin. Also survived by six grandchildren, Amber, Jacob, Lauren, and Hans Susgin and Shyla and Norel Cardy. He will always be remembered as "Dad" to us, but others will remember his 36 years as a General Contractor in the St. Catharines area. He worked on both of the Centennial Libraries in St. Catharines and Niagara Falls. He also owned and operated Marie's Seafood and Harvey's Restaurant for many years. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends at the BUTLER FUNERAL HOME, 424 Niagara Street, St. Catharines on Saturday, April 30 from 10:00 a.m. until service at 11:00 a.m. Memorial donat ions to the Cancer Society or the Alzheimer Society in his memory would be appreciated.
