HIPWELL, George Henry, At the Hotel Dieu Hospital on Tuesday, April 26, 2005 in his 84th year. Predeceased by his wife Dorothy Lillian Hipwell (nee Jack), March 10, 1972. Dear father of William Longmuir Hipwell of Bancroft, Don Longmuir Hipwell (Cha rlene) of St. Catharines, Robert Hurlbut Hipwell (Sheila) of Orangeville, Kevin Young Hipwell (Angela) of Kitchener, Stuart Hipwell (Kathleen Docherty) of St. Catharines, Marcia (Raymond) Little of Welland, Sandra Hipwell, Arlene Hipwell, Dave (Sue A ylward) Hipwell and Kenneth Hipwell all of St. Catharines. Survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sister-in-law Margaret Hipwell of St. Catharines. Predeceased by wives Dorothy Mary Elizabeth (nee Longmuir) 1999; Alice Maude Hipwell (19 94), daughters Wilhelmina Hipwell (1943), Diane Lynn Hipwell (1945), brother Herbert Hipwell (1942), sister Catherine Cook (2004), brother Walter (2002), sister Edna Borton. George worked for the City of St. Catharines for many years, before transfer ring to the Niagara Region Public Works Department, Port Dalhousie and Port Weller Pollution Control, before retiring from the Beamsville yard. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 350. The family will receive friends at THE HULSE & EN GLILSH FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 75 Church Street 905-684-6346 on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Saturday, April 30, 2005 at 10 a.m. Interment to follow in Victoria Lawn Cemetery. - 4/28/2005 - ID6101686
