McGREGOR, Alexander Errol Peacefully at the Arnprior & District Memorial Hospital on April 7, 2005. Alex "Sandy" McGregor of Whitney in his 80th year. Dear husband of the late Marjory McGregor. Beloved father of Catherine McGregor (Paul Veigel) of Cobden. Brother of Les McGregor of Renfrew, Stewart (Laurie) McGregor of Peterborough, Roy (Melba) McGregor of Ottawa, Dorothy McGihon of Cobden and Jim (Beth) McGregor of Arnprior. Predeceased by Joyce McGregor (nee New) and siblings Gordon and Jean McGregor. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Resting at the McPhail & Perkins Funeral Home, 85 Munro at Lorne, Renfrew on Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and thence to the Smith-Post Memorial United Church, Whitney Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be conducted at Smith-Post Memorial United Church, Whitney, at 11 a.m. Tuesday. Rev. Heather McLurg presiding. Spring interment Whitney Public Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to either the Arnprior & District Memorial Hospital or the Canadian Cancer Society would be gratefully appreciated.
