DUBROY, Denise (nee Laurin) Born October 8, 1928 in Hull, Quebec, passed away peacefully at Victoria Hospice, Victoria, BC on April 15, 2005 with her family by her side. The beloved wife of Ken DuBroy for 50 wonderful years, Denise and Ken began their life together in Aylmer, Quebec and moved to Victoria, BC in 1991. She is the cherished mother of Louise (Cliff), Suzanne, Philip (Sharla), Linda (Mike) and Claire (Rick); loving grandmother of Ken, Jeremy, Kate, Daniel, Peter, Kirt and Kailina. Denise was a life member and ardent worker of the Royal Canadian Legion, Britannia Branch No. 7. The celebration of Denise's life will be held at First Memorial Funeral Chapel, 1155 Fort Street on Thursday, April 21 at 2:00 p.m. A second memorial service will be held in Ottawa at a date to be announced later.
