OBITUARY COSMAS "COSIE" LYNCH 1922-2005 Of Calgary, Alberta, passed away peacefully at the Rockyview General Hospital in Calgary, on April 18, 2005 at the age of eighty-two years. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Grace Lynch (nee Sheppard), his daughter Deborah (Kip Altman) of New York, son Thomas (Susan) of Calgary, and grandchildren Katelyn, Connor, and Mclean. He will also be remembered by his brother Donald, sisters-in-law Jill (D'Arcy) Lynch and Joan (Jack) and by his loving nieces, nephews and many devoted friends in Montreal and Calgary. He was predeceased by his parents; Patrick T. Lynch and Teresa Lynch (nee McMillian), and his brothers Arthur and D'Arcy. "Cosie" was born July 14, 1922 in Montreal, Quebec. He served with the Canadian Armed Forces during the Second World War in Germany, France, and Holland with the Alberta Regiment. He was active in many charitable works both in Montreal and Calgary. He was a past President of the St. Vincent De Paul Society, and a member of the Knights of Columbus. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Calgary, Alberta on Thursday, April 21, 2005 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow in Montreal, Quebec.
