Tamara LABUC

LESZCZYNSKI, Tamara (nee Labuc) born Aleksandrow, Poland, April 8, 1915. Predeceased by her husband, Zygmunt, in 1972. Following a long illness, Tamara passed away at Trillium Health Centre, Toronto, March 20, 2005. Nurse, artist, gardener, cook, expert mushroom picker, mother and much loved Babcia. Via Poland, Russia, Palestine, Tamara arrived with her husband in Toronto in 1949. In 1957, the family relocated to Ottawa, a city she grew to truly love & lived in until 2000. Sadly missed by Elizabeth, Irene, Brett, Viggo, Olivia & friend Bud. Memorial service, May 14, 10:00 a.m. St Hyacinth R.C. Church, 201 Lebreton St N., Ottawa.
