McGUIGAN, Bryan James. On April 16, 2005 in Atlanta, Georgia at the age of fifty-one, as a result of an accident while pursuing his passion for skydiving. Beloved husband of Vickie (Tidwell) of Atlanta. Beloved son of Patricia and the late James McGuigan. Dearly loved brother of Glenn (Maureen Grennan), John (Anita Legler), and Lynn. Loving uncle to Shaun, Brendan, and Matthew of Calgary; Michael and Alyssa of Montreal; and Kevin, Karen, and Ken of Georgia. Also survived by his loving mother-in-law and father-in-law, Lurline and Felton Tidwell, brother-in-law Harold (Margaret) of Georgia, and many cousins and friends in both Canada and the United States. We wish to extend our heart-felt thanks to all the friends who have shared their loving concern during these very difficult days. Our sincere gratitude to Father Paul Pomkoski of St. Brendan's Parish for the friendship, support, and spiritual guidance he has provided, especially to our mother. A service will take place in Atlanta on Saturday, April 23 at the Atlanta Skydiving Center, where Bryan was an instructor and free flier. A memorial mass will take place in Montreal on Wednesday, April 27 at 7 p.m. in St. Brendan's Church, 3542 Rosemount Blvd. followed by a reception in the Parish hall. As a free flyer, scuba diver, skate boarder, world traveller and pilot, Bryan's zest for life knew no bounds.
