ROCK, Erla (nee Holder). October 25, 1938 - April 18, 2005. Peacefully passed away after a battle with cancer on Monday, April 18, 2005. Beloved wife of Byron. Devoted mother of Trevor (Melissa) and Stephanie (Kurt). Cherished grandmother of Devon, Briyaunah, Eria, Taaliyah. She will also be greatly missed by her mother Agatha Sobers, her brothers and sisters, as well as many other relatives and friends. Sincere thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff of the Montreal General Hospital for their care and support. The family will receive condolences at Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 Sources Blvd., Dollard-des-Ormeaux, 514-685-3344, on Sunday, April 24, 2005 from 1 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral service will be held at St-Thomas Church, 6897 Somerled ave., N.D.G. on April 25, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. Donations can be made in her memory to the Canadian Cancer Society.
