PORTEOUS, Edna Gertrude Peacefully in hospital at Ottawa, Ontario on Friday, April 22, 2005 in her 76th year. Beloved wife of the late Vernal Porteous. Loving and cherished mother of Wayne (Brenda) and Stephen (Lesia). Dear and devoted grandmother of Katherine Edna Murray (Jamie), Gary Wayne Porteous (Cheryl), Wayne Jr. (Tina) and Tammy Lynn Porteous. Great-grandmother of Liam, Kaitlin, Houston and Brianna. Survived by her sister Joyce Rollans and brother Gilbert Smith. Predeceased by her three brothers and four sisters. Friends may call at the ALAN R. BARKER FUNERAL HOME 19 McArthur Avenue, Carleton Place on Tuesday from 12 noon until time of memorial service to be held in the chapel at 2 p.m. with Reverend Elizabeth Bryce officiating.
