LAPOINTE, Joseph Fredrick Alphonse "Al" May 6, 1918 - April 23, 2005 Al passed away Saturday peacefully at home. Beloved husband of Sharon Summers. Father of Susan (Wayne Narlock), Jenny Lee Lapointe and the late Peter Charles Lapointe (1963). Also survived by his sister Odette (Dr. Frank Krar) of Hamilton and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Alphonse and Gertrude (nee O'Connor) and a sister Carmen Montgomery and brothers Charles, Alfred and Paul. Grandpa to Peter (Shelley), Jeffery and Sarah and great-grandfather to one. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 26th at the Pinecrest Visitation Centre (2500 Baseline Road, Ottawa) from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, April 27th in the Pinecrest Chapel at 2:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
