SCOLLON, Mabel (Lavalley) On Friday, April 22, 2005 at the age of 92 years. Widow of Russell. Loving mother of Glen (Joan) Ottawa, Bruce (Gail) Campbell River, B.C., Elaine (John Giguere) Sault Ste. Marie. Grandmother of Bruce Scollon (Laura), Nancy (Gary Moore), Janet (Don Mayo), all of Ottawa, Jill (Kevin Matthew), Jody (Aleco Cossenas), Greg Scollon (Carrie), all of B.C., Tim Giguere (Partner Perry) of Toronto and Stephen Giguere (Friend Allison) of Nottingham, England and 14 great-grandchildren. Also survived by sisters, Florence Kopil and Reta Stinson. Predeceased by sister Lois Utman and brothers Cecil of Brockville and David WWII. Mabel was a long time member of the I.O.D.E. Dundonald Chapter and one of the original and founding members of Rideau Park United Church. Friends may visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street on Wednesday, April 27, 2005 from 9:30 a.m. until time of the Service in the Chapel at 11:30 a.m. Reception to follow.
