WHITE, Vincent. At 2:00 p.m. on April 23, 2005 at the Centre Hospitalier Anna-Laberge, Chateauguay in his eighty-fourth year. Beloved husband of Jackie. Devoted and loving father of Mavis, Gerald, Michael, Thomas, Christopher and Laurie-Anne. Much loved Grandpa of David, Sarah, Allison, Elizabeth-Ann, John-Isaac, Meredith and James. Father-in-law of Bill, Cathy, Erma, and Marie Louise. Vince ("Knocker") served in the Royal Navy aboard His Majesty's ships as a Telegraphist during World War II. After which, he worked for Bell Canada for over thirty-seven years, until 1982. Visitation and Vigil Service at the Dallaire (Wilson) Funeral Home, 123 Maple, Chateauguay on Monday April 25, 2005 from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, McLeod St., Chateauguay, QC, on Tuesday April 26, 2005 at 1 p.m. Cremation with interment in Christ-Roi Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Fondation Anna Laberge or Canadian Cancer Society.
