Elizabeth BAYER

CAON, Elizabeth (nee Bayer). It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Elizabeth (Betty) Caon, at the seventy-five. She died unexpectedly at Sacre-Coeur Hospital, following complications from a stroke, on Wednesday, April 27, 2005. She was the cherished wife of the late Dino Caon. Treasured by surviving daughters Anne Marie, Dina (Michel Caza) and the late Linda. Adored grandmother of Alex (who knows the true meaning of love because of her). She was also a wonderful "Mama" to her puppy Dusty and budgie Chippy. Pre-deceased by her parents George and Mary Bayer (nee Muth), brother John (Alys Hamilton), and sister Anne. She will also be greatly missed by the many other family members and friends she leaves behind. Betty will always be remembered for her strength, optimism, energy, simplicity, goodness and selflessness. And we will never forget her ability to enjoy, laugh and be young-at-heart. We have lost a truly remarkable woman, but heaven has now been given an angel who will continue to watch over us with love. A prayer will take place at Salon Magnus Poirier on Saturday, April 30, 2005 at 7 p.m. Visiting hours Saturday from 3 to 9 p.m. at 10526 boul.
