Edward Anthony TIERNEY

TIERNEY, Edward Anthony. Passed away peacefully on April 27, 2005 at the age of eighty-one. Ted was the loving husband of Ida Tierney for over fifty-five years. Together they had eight children, Ann, Barb, Cathy, Greg, Jeff, D'Arcy, Kirk and Chris, who will miss him greatly, as will his brother Allen. Ted was a scientist, scoutmaster, RCAF pilot, and grandfather. He will be remembered as a great "tinkerer" and a man of many projects. He loved camping and boating and his family. The Tierney family would like to express their thanks to the staffs at Winston Park Village and Grand River Hospital for the dedicated care and attention they provided. A funeral service will be held Saturday at Westmount Funeral Chapel, (519) 743-8900 at 10:30 a.m. with cremation to follow.
