Ruth Evelyn ARMSTRONG

Ruth Evelyn Small (née Armstrong) May 07, 1922 - April 25, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Sands Funeral Chapel (Duncan) Ruth Evelyn passed away peacefully at home in Arbutus Ridge on April 25, 2005 in her 82nd year with family members present. She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Jack, and her three children Nancy Brongers of Prince George, Bob Small of Roberts Creek and Barbara Small of Victoria and grandson John Small of North Vancouver. Also survived by her brother Norman Armstrong of Barrie, Ontario and predeceased by Elgin Armstrong of Ottawa, Ontario. Ruth was an attractive and outgoing person and a great homemaker during the many corporate moves across the country. She shared many mutual interests with her husband and was a great bridge partner. Ruth was proud of the accomplishments of her three children and delighted in serving a big family dinner. Special thanks for the compassion and caring shown by Dr. Decker, the nurses Gurpal, Louise and Leanne and the ladies from Homecare. Private family service will be held.
