BLAIS, Joanne Linda (nee McLaughlin) - Our angel Joanne passed away at St. Peter's Hospital, March 18, 2004, in her 60th year, after a lengthy battle with cancer. Beloved mother of Remi (Marcie) and grandmother of Avery. Joanne also left her loving family Marilyn Davidson (George), Dianne Palmateer (Ed - predeceased), Donna Hunt (Tom), Robert McLaughlin, Janise Filka (Harold). Predeceased by her parents Croften and Mabel McLaughlin and by her brother Donough McLaughlin. Dearest friend of Carol Allan. She will be sadly missed by many aunts, nieces, nephews and friends. The family will honour her life with visitation at the MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Sunday, March 21 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Monday, March 22, at time to be announced, with cremation to follow. Donations to the Children's Wish Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
