CRAIG, MARJORIE ALBERTA (BIRDIE) - The death of Marjorie Alberta Craig (Birdie), wife of the late Edward Smith Craig Jr., occurred on Friday April 22, 2005 at St. Joseph's Hospital. Born 1934 in Saint John she was the daughter of the late Millidge Leaman and Marjorie Bernice (Akerley) Martin. Birdie loved to garden and had a keen interest in all species of birds. "We'll see you in the morning" She is survived by her daughters Dianne Craig of Ontario and Heather Craig of Saint John; one sister Judy E. A. Martin of Saint John and several nieces and nephews. By request there will be no visitation or funeral service. Following cremation, a private family interment took place in Barnsville Seventh Day Adventist Cemetery. The family would appreciate donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the charity of the donor's choice.
