POIRIER, Jean - At the Cornwall Community Hospital, McConnell Site on Thursday, November 24, 2005. Jean Dorothy (McCallum) Poirier; formerly of 5310 Avonmore Road; age 82 years. Beloved wife of the late Clarence (Fun) Poirier. Dear mother of Allen Poirier (Anne Charlebois), Susan Denneny (the late Patrick), Mona Cameron (Robin) and Janice Harrop (Shawn) all of Cornwall, Linda McCue (Robert) of Stittsville, Ontario and Korleen Manwell (Kenneth) of Orangeville. Predeceased by one son, Clinton Poirier. Dear daughter of the late Arthur McCallum and the late Eva Baker. Dear sister of and Larry McCallum of Cornwall and Keith McCallum of Whitecourt, Alberta. Predeceased by three brothers, Clare, Donald and Murray McCallum and by two siters, Aileen Dewe and Bernice McCallum. Also survived by 17 grandchildren and by 23 great-grandchildren. Rested at the Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes, West Branch, 20 Seventh Street West, 932-8482 followed by cremation. As expressions of sympathy, Memorial Donations to the World Vision would be appreciated by the family.
