DUPLANTE, Cherie - At St. Joseph’s Villa on Thursday, November 3, 2005. Cherie Duplante of 14 York Street; formerly of 1227 Notre Dame Street; age 87 years. Beloved wife of the late Rolland Duplante. Dear daughter of the late Procule Duplante and the late Josephine Poirier. Dear sister of Laurier Duplante (Lillian) of Ottawa, Alice Cadieux (late Leo) of Cornwall. Predeceased by one brother, Rosaire Duplante (late Lucienne) and two sisters, Rose Cadieux (late Alphonse) and Gertrude Morin (late Richard). Also survived by her nephews, Rolland Morin (Gail) of Cornwall, Eugene Morin (Rosalee) of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, one niece, Denise Morin (Earl Corley) of Glen Walter, and many other nieces and nephews. Cremation. A Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, November 8, 2005 in St. Francis de Sales Church at 11 a.m. As expressions of sympathy, Memorial Donations to the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated by the family.
