LAZORE, Ann Nettie - At the Champlain Valley Physician’s Hospital, Plattsburgh, New York on Sunday, October 9, 2005. Ann Nettie (Cole) Lazore (Condoled Clan Mother of the Kaienkehakeh Mohawk Nation Longhouse, retired chef and designer of traditional clothing specializing in bead work) of the Mohawk Nation, Akwesasne and the Ganienkeh Territory; age 67 years. Wife by a previous marriage of the late William Lazore- “Tewisarate”. Dear mother of Dyan Swamp (Lawrence) of Akwesasne, Donald Lazore (Trudy) and Darcy Lazore (Angie) both of Kahnawake. Predeceased by one son, Dorian, two daughters, Dawn and Delia Lazore, infant grandson and granddaughter, Windy Lazore. Dear daughter of the late Mary Cole-Jacobs. Dear sister of Mary Swamp (Ray) of Ganienkeh Territory, Thomas Jacobs (Judith) of Schomberg, Ontario, Christina Jacobs of Akwesasne and Debbera Thompson (Ronald) of Cornwall Island. Dear friend of Charlene Diabo of Kahnawake and Minnie Lazore of Akwesasne. Also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Resting at the Ganienkeh Mohawk Territory, Longhouse via Altona, New York from 7 p.m. Wednesday until 9 a.m .on Thursday, thence to the residence of Ronald and Debbera Thompson, Cornwall Island from 4 p.m. Thursday. Funeral Friday, October 14, 2005 for Service in Kanienkehaka Kaienerenkowa Kanonsesneh (Long House), Hogansburg, New York at 2 p.m. Interment, Longhouse Cemetery, Cornwall Island.
