SMITH, John 1917 - 2005 Est décédé paisiblement et entouré de sa famille le 19 décembre 2005. Il laisse dans le deuil son épouse Sylvia, son fils Stanley et sa bru Lorraine (Walker), sa fille Dawn et ses petits-enfants Shawn, Bradley et Jordan. Il laisse également sa soeur Sophie et Dagny, son frère Fred et sa belle-soeur Inger. Prédécédé par son frère Neils et sa soeur Margrette. Une célébration de sa vie aura lieu le mercredi 28 décembre en l'église St. Ansgar's Lutheran Church, 4020 Grand Boul., N.D.G., H4B 2X5, à 11 h. Les visites auront lieu à partir de 10 h et une réception suivra le service dans le hall de l'église. Des dons à sa mémoire peuvent être faits à l'église St. Ansgar's à l'adresse ci-haut ou à l'Armée du Salut, 2050 Stanley 400, Montréal, Qc, H3A 3G3. Survived by his wife Sylvia, his son Stanley and his Daughter-in-law Lorraine (Walker), his daughter Dawn and Grandchildren Shawn, Bradley and Jordan. Also survived by his sister Sophie and Dagny, his brother Fred and sister-in-law Inger. Predeceased by his brother Neils and Sister Margrette. His life was a commitment and celebration of service to his fellow man. Those fortunate to share the same road with John will forever respect and love him for his countless hours of devotion to others through, among others, Rotary, Lions, Quebec Easter Seals and the Danish CLub, but also on his own through quiet personal acts of assistance to countless in need. A celebration of his life will be held Wednesday, December 28 in St. Ansgar's Lutheran Church, 4020 Grand Boul. N.D.G. H4B 2X5 at 11 a.m. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. and a reception will follow the service in the church hall.
