Lyle Lloyd Robertson March 21, 1935 - December 17, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Sands Funeral Chapel (Duncan) Born March 21, 1935 in Raymor, Saskatchewan. Passed away December 17, 2005 in Nanaimo after a long illness. Remembered by his family, brothers Doug (Debbie) and Darrell (Wendy); sisters Vivian (Wib) and Carol (Larry); children Michael, Clay, Heather, Wendy (Bruce), Tammy (Mike), Dawn (Rick), Scott (Angela), Randy (Sue) and all their spouses; many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dad has gone to be with mom Margaret, dad Archibald; his brother Raymond and his beloved Peggy. From his childhood in Saskatchewan to his final days in Parksville, he touched many lives. Dad’s two great passions in life were his cooking, and his unshakeable urge to read any book he came in contact with. “May the bookstore in Heaven never close dad.” In Lyle’s memory, the family respectfully requests that contributions in lieu of flowers be made to the S.O.S. Community Thrift Store, 245 W Hirst Avenue, Parksville, BC V9P 2G9.
