William HENDERSON

HENDERSON, WILLIAM (BILL) S. - of Duke Street South occurred on December 20, 2005 at St. Joseph's Hospital. Born 1912 in Saint John he was the son of the late Hilton and Nellie (Franklin) Henderson. William was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He served overseas with the army during WW II and in the Korean War. He was a Member of the Canadian Corp of Commissioners. He is survived by niece and friend Deborah England; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his life long friend Myrtle Moore; brothers Kenneth, Tom, Frank, George and sisters Ethel, Doris and Olive. By request there will be no visitations. The funeral service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, (646-2424) on Thursday December 22, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Fernhill Cemetery. Donations made to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family. A tribute to a Veteran Service will be at the funeral home at 2:00 p.m. [Telegraph-Journal]
