Basil A. Plant August 21, 1917 - December 19, 2005 Funeral arrangements by James H Sutton Funeral Home 88 years. Passed away peacefully on December 19, 2005 at Hotel Dieu Hospital with his family by his side. Loving husband to Joan, for 63 years on December 31, 2005. Caring and devoted father to Larry and Margaret Ann Plant, Lynda and Ron Dupuis, Lorna and Larry Reaume, Lou-Ellen and Dan Gibb, Lisa Pajot and Lee Seguin. Dearly missed by Greg Pajot, Raymond Pare and Mark St. Louis. Beloved grandfather to Christopher and Vicky, David and Brad, Lisa and Steve, Kristie and Michelle, Tara and Derek. Dear great grandfather to Davis and Raquelle, Bradley, Shayna and Jenna, Kayla and Tara, Devon and Savannah. Brother of Catherine Robidoux, Dennis and Jerome Plant. Basil was a proud Canadian Naval Veteran of W.W.II and a retired long term employee of Seagrams. Visitation at the JAMES H. SUTTON FUNERAL HOME, 401 Sandwich St. S., Amherstburg (736-2134) Wednesday from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. with a Veteran Legion Service at 7:30 p.m.. Funeral Thursday December 22, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. at the Funeral Home. Rev. John Burkhart officiating. Interment to follow at St. John The Baptist Cemetery. In kindness memorial tributes may be made to the Kidney Foundation. A tree will be planted in memory of Basil in the Sutton Heritage Forest.
