Mrs. Bela Bernice Abramson (née Landa) September 05, 1917 - December 17, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Richmond Funeral Home Passed away on December 17, 2005 at Vancouver General Hospital in Vancouver, BC after suffering a stroke on December 16, 2005. She was born on September 5, 1917 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Bela is survived by her children, Nikki Howard (Jim) and Arny Abramson (Carole), grandchildren Bill (Jackie), Janet (Al), John (Isabel), Darren, Daniella and Steven, and great-grandchildren Nicole, Eric, Michale, Shayla, Mariessa, Will and Miranda. Her brother, Dr. Samuel Landa and his family, also survive Bela. Bela's last few years, after her husband Josh passed away, were spend in the Weinberg Residence and in the Louis Brier Home where she often comforted others. Bela will be greatly missed by those who loved her and those whose lives she touched. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
