EILEEN ANNABEL MALCOLM It’s with deep sadness we announce the passing of our dear mother, grandmother, and friend, Eileen Annabel Malcolm. She was predeceased by the love of her life, Francis Alexander Malcolm (2002). Surviving are her son, David (Linda); daughters, Valier (Allan), Lee Anna (James), and Maxine (Bill); grandchildren, Greg, Deanna, Amanda, Sarah, David, Cory, Kyle, and Cynthia; and brother, Wilfred Hearn. She will be remembered for the never-ending love and devotion to her family and friends. Eileen and Frank enjoyed square dancing and travelling to Texas, and special family times. The family lived on a farm outside of Finland, Ont. The community and surrounding recreation area provided the background for cherished family memories. In the early 1970s, they moved to Fort Frances, Ont., where they spent happy times at the cottage in Hopkins Bay and made many lasting friendships. Eileen was a faithful United Church member, a Rebekah, and a hospital auxiliary volunteer. She will be remembered for her commitment and great love for Franck and her children. A memorial service was held at Strathmore United Church on Tuesday afternoon at 2 p.m.
