BRIGGS, JEAN ANNIE - The death of Jean Briggs of Arthurette occurred on December 29, 2005 at the Tobique Valley Hospital at the age of 90. Born in Scotland. She is survived by one son Stephen (Wendy) Taylor of Plaster Rock; one daughter Elizabeth Chase of Arthurette; 10 grandchildren, four step grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 14 step great grandchildren. Predeceased by her husbands Millidge Taylor and Donald Briggs, her mother Annie Fraser, daughter Angela Louise Hayes and great grandson Brian Keith Taylor. Resting at the Sisson Ridge United Baptist Church with visiting hours on Friday, December 30 from 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held on Saturday December 31 at 2 pm from the Sisson Ridge United Baptist Church with Rev. Fred Hanson and Rev. Lorne Freake officiating. Interment in the Burntland Brook Cemetery in the spring. Memorial donations to the Burntland Brook Cemetery Fund, Sisson Ridge United Baptist Church Fund or donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
