Gloria May McKay-Wickett September 04, 1939 - December 29, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Burke Funeral Home McKay-Wickett, Gloria May Passed away in her sleep at home on Thursday, December 29, 2005 in Belleville, Ontario. Gloria was the beloved spouse of Tom Wickett. She is survived by her daughters Susan Osborne (Paul) of Guelph, Leslie McKay of Ottawa and son Gordon McKay of Vancouver. Gloria was greatly loved by her stepchildren and she will be missed by Michael Wickett (Tanya) of London, Patrick Wickett (Tara) of Toronto and Melissa Wickett of Belleville. Greatly missing their Grandma are Nathan, Bennett, Hannah and Madeline. Gloria was born September 4, 1939 in Teulon, Manitoba and is survived by her mother Olive Kadynuik of Winnipeg, sisters Muriel, Marylou and Linda and brother John. Remembered with love by her sisters and brothers-in-law, Dawn, Irv, Ian, Marjorie, Bryan and Jane. Aunt Bunny will be missed by her many nieces and nephews in Alberta, Manitoba and Ontario. Gloria moved to Belleville in 1971 and obtained her real estate license a few years later. She was well-respected by her colleagues and many clients over the 26 years she spent as a realtor in the Quinte area. An avid bridge-player for over thirty years, Bunny will truly miss her Tuesday night gatherings with her friends as well as her neighbours that she came to call her close friends. The family will receive friends at the Burke Funeral Home(968-6968) 150 Church St. Belleville on Monday, January 2, 2006 from 1 - 3 p.m. prior to the Celebration of her life in the chapel at 3 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the QHC- Oncology Department would be appreciated by the family.
