Reginald "Reg" H. Stone September 28, 1923 - December 30, 2005 Funeral arrangements by Lindsay's Windsor Funeral Home * STONE……Reginald H. “Reg”, age 82, of Windsor, passed away on Friday, December 30, 2005, at the Hants Community Hospital, Windsor. Born on September 28, 1923, in Oxford Junction, Cumberland County, Nova Scotia, he was the son of the late Percy and Gertrude (Brenton) Stone. Reg was the former director of the Nova Scotia Freemasons Home, Windsor. He owned and operated A.C.B.S. Ltd., an accountant service. He had previously worked in the Ships Division of the Bedford Institute of Oceanography and also worked at the Co-op in both Stewiacke and Brooklyn. He was past District Deputy Grand Master for the district of Hants; past Jr. Grand Warden of the Grand Lodge of Nova Scotia; past Master and member of Welsford Lodge No.26, AF & AM; Hiram Chapter No.3; a member and past Worthy Patron of Fairfield Chapter No.22, O.E.S. receiving his 50 year Jewel. He is survived by a son, Danny Castillo, Dartmouth; sisters, Helen Archibald, Truro; Erma (Gordon) Card, Aylesford; Hazel Hathaway, Westville; brother, Hector (Jessica), New Glasgow; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased a brother, Herbert; special aunt, Annie Hanson. Fairfield Chapter No.22 will hold an Eastern Star service at 2 p.m. Monday, January 2, in Lindsay’s Windsor Funeral Home, 194 King Street, Windsor, followed by visitation until 4 p.m. and also where Welsford Lodge No.26, will hold a Masonic service at 7 p.m., Monday, followed by the funeral service at 8 p.m., all in the funeral home chapel. Rev. E. E. Hill is officiating, with interment at Maplewood Cemetery, Windsor, to follow at a later day.
